The WTIA Total Welding Management System is designed to assist small and medium sized enterprises and other companies engaged in welding and fabrication to be competitive and successful

The system comprises 34 elements, ranging from design and production through health, safety and rehabilitation to document control - all the elements that go to make up a viable and efficient business operation. Each of these elements is supported by a Knowledge Resource Bank of management systems (including the OHS&R Management System also available on interactive CD-ROM), technical resources and Standards. The resources in this bank vary depending on the type of business being run, and can be tailor made to suite any industry sector. Thus a small fabricator, though he needs to address the same elements that a large company does, and has similar legal responsibilities, has specific needs in terms of knowledge and technology resources. The WTIA will be releasing a series of these tailored Knowledge Resource Banks for different industry sectors, and promoting them though SMART and Industry Specific Groups, as well as through workshops and directly to industry.
