The WTIA is authorised to examine personnel both to relevant Australian Standards and to its own Standards. This database is a register of all qualifications and certifications issued by the WTIA since 1980 as retrospective data is added to the database over time. Lists of qualifications before this date are maintained at the WTIA. To ensure you have accessed the complete register of qualified personnel, please contact the WTIA.
Current WTIA members may add to, or modify, their contact details on the database by fax, mail, or email. Non-members may have their contact details added by contacting the WTIA and paying a maintenance fee. The WTIA makes every effort to maintain this information, but cannot guarantee its accuracy.
Qualification in Australia under the International Institute of Welding (IIW) program is administered by the WTIA as the Australian IIW Authorised National Body (ANB). These qualifications can be searched on the database.
The Australian Institute for the Certification of Inspection Personnel (AICIP) commenced holding examinations in 1997, and has issued certificates for two categories of personnel. WTIA, as Secretariat of AICIP, has maintained a register of these personnel in the database. Visit the AICIP website www.aicip.org.au for further details and full listings of AICIP personnel.
The inclusion or omission of any person in the database does not imply any recommendation of that person by the WTIA or AICIP. The facilities provided below enable you to search the database by specifying a last name, and/or qualification or certification. A description of all listed qualifications and certifications is available.
