Register of Qualified Personnel

The WTIA is authorised to examine personnel to relevant Australian Standards and to set other examinations. This database is a register of all qualifications issued by the WTIA since 1980. Lists of qualifications before this date are maintained at the WTIA. Current WTIA members may add add or modify their contact details on the database by fax, mail, or email. The WTIA makes every effort to maintain this information, but cannot guarantee its accuracy.

Qualification under the International Institute of Welding (IIW) program will be administered by the WTIA as the Australian Authorised National Body (ANB). These qualifications can be searched on the database. Certification of personnel to ISO 14731 as welding contractors will also be recorded on the database as the information becomes available.

The Australian Institute for the Certification of Inspection Personnel (AICIP) will commence holding examinations in 1997, and will be issuing certificates for four categories of personnel. WTIA, as secretariat of AICIP, will include a register of these personnel in the database.

The inclusion or ommission of any person in this database does not imply any recommendation of that person by the WTIA.
